On August
04, 1992 - TSC lost one of their
original members. Kevin J. Moore was fatally shot and killed in Berkeley,
California.This page is dedicated to the fond memory of: Mr.
Kevin Joseph Moore .
Obituary
 Kevin Moore was born in Oakland, California on August 11,
1965 to his parents, Jocko Brisco Moore and Earnestine Adams. Among his many
talents, Kevin was a songwriter and musician. BMI
Kevin was a member of the Timex
Social Club and toured
with the group on the historic RUN DMC Raising Hell tour in 1986. On March 11,
1989, Kevin married Jo Ann Grey in Reno, Nevada. To this union two daughters
were born, Erin and Lorin Moore.
Kevin worked
many years in construction as a laborer. He enjoyed challenging work such as
building and he loved working with his hands. On June 22, 1992, Kevin began
working for the City of Orinda in the Department of Public Works. There he made
friends and established new relationships.
Kevin
departed this life suddenly and violently, August 4, 1992, one week before his
27th birthday. He will be greatly missed by family and
friends.
Kevin Moore leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Jo Ann Moore; three
children, Kellen, Erin and Lorin Moore; his loving mother Earnestine Moore; his
devoted grandmother, Lola Voice; two sisters, Denise Square and Patricia Moore;
his brother, Richard Moore; his niece, Kejana Black; three nephews, Derek Jr.,
David and Jeffrey Square; his father and mother-in-law, Joe L. and Jacquetta
black II; his brother in law, Derek Square Sr. and a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins, other relatives and many friends.
We loved you Kevin, but God loved you
best.
